Motorconsult AS is a machine shop in Trondheim that specializes in technology for improving fuel oil quality and reducing emissions. The company offers solutions that can reduce NOx emissions by between 20 and 31 percent using emulsion operation. By purifying and modifying the fuel oil, they help improve the quality of the fuel, while eliminating problems associated with diesel animals.
The company has developed the emulsion system RedSys, which produces a water-in-oil emulsion. This system is designed to extend engine overhaul intervals and can provide cost savings by reducing fuel oil consumption by 4-5 percent. Motorconsult AS is also a distributor of the fuel oil improver Hammerdown, which further strengthens their offering within fuel optimization and engine improvements.
