Nardo Skolekorps is a voluntary organization in Trondheim that offers music training for children from 1st grade. The band has an Allmusikk program which focuses on creating joy in music through play. The participants get the opportunity to try different wind instruments and percussion instruments, which gives a varied musical experience. Concerts are planned during the school year, and there is a limited number of places available, with a waiting list for those interested.
The corps has a long history and is known for its active involvement in the local community. The instruments are borrowed free of charge by the band, and uniforms that suit the participants are also offered. The main corps rehearses on Thursdays, with aspirants and recruits who have their own rehearsal times. The rehearsals take place in the gymnasium and music room at Nardo School.
