Klatreklubben Ålesund is an organization that focuses on climbing and related activities. The club has a climbing wall where routes are continuously updated through voluntary work. This means that the climbing roofs are screwed down, cleaned and reassembled to ensure varied and safe climbing experiences.
The club also organizes various activities, including courses and events led by its own instructors. In addition to practical climbing offers, annual meetings are held which may include lectures, such as by Frode Gauldal. A novelty in the club is the conversation robot Topo, which has been developed to provide members with information and support. It is worth noting that the climbing wall may be closed in connection with special events, such as concerts.
