Destinasjon Ålesund & Sunnmøre is a joint organization that markets Ålesund and Sunnmøre as a travel destination both nationally and internationally. The organization includes approximately 200 tourism companies and 13 municipalities in the Sunnmøre region. It is centrally located at Skateflukaia in Ålesund.
Visitors can explore the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord and the artistic Art Nouveau town of Ålesund. In addition, you can experience the spectacular Trollstigen and enjoy scenic views of fjords, islands and mountains. The destination also offers opportunities to discover the bird island Runde, taste local delicacies from the coast, as well as participate in various activities and events, including a colorful party in the spring. The organization provides inspiration for some of Norway's most impressive road trips.
