Halden Frivilligsentral is a voluntary organization that focuses on creating social activities and meeting places for residents. The organization offers a varied program that includes an international food table, where the goal is to promote integration and inclusion of different cultures. In addition, Friday breakfasts are arranged, which aim to counteract loneliness among participants.
As part of its cultural offerings, Halden Frivilligsentral also offers sing-alongs with a house band, which gives participants the opportunity to participate in a social and musical experience. The organization celebrates Fårikålens Day with a social lunch for volunteers, which helps to strengthen the community. There is also an open drop-in office available for inquiries and activities, making it easy for people to get involved in volunteer work and community involvement.
