The Norwegian Football Coaches Association aims to strengthen the competence and knowledge of football coaches in Norway. The association offers resources and insights that can help to raise the quality of the coaching role, with a focus on trends and experiences from the UEFA Youth League. This gives members an opportunity to stay up to date with the latest developments in football coaching.
A notable part of the association's history is that Porsanger IL from Finnmark was the first club member. The association also celebrates successes in Norwegian football, such as Mjällby's achievements in the Allsvenskan and recognizes the contributions of individuals such as Doktor Karl Marius from Narvik. In addition, the association gives members the opportunity to participate in the vote for the Grassroots Coach of the Year 2025, which promotes engagement and recognition of skilled coaches in the football community.
