Røverkaffe Oslo is a coffee bar that has a unique focus on social entrepreneurship. The coffee served is roasted by inmates and released persons, and the initiative is part of Nettverk ätter soning, an initiative from the Red Cross which aims to support convicts in their transition back into society. This project helps to give the participants valuable experience and opportunities for work.
In addition to coffee, Røverkaffe offers a lunch buffet with both cold and hot dishes, which is available on weekdays from 12 to 13. The cafe functions not only as a place to enjoy coffee and food, but also as a platform to promote social responsibility and rehabilitation. Røverkaffe Oslo is thus an example of how a company can combine quality with an important social purpose.
