Animal Protection Norway is a nationwide animal protection organization with 28 local branches throughout the country. The organization has been active since 1859 and works to ensure that animals are treated with respect and compassion. With several thousand members, they contribute to promoting animal welfare and speak up for animals to the public, authorities and the media.
The organization offers a free clinic for people with financial challenges, but has specific requirements to receive services. It is important to note that they do not accept breeding or litters of puppies, and instead focus on helping animals in need. Through its work, Animal Welfare Norway seeks to create increased awareness of animal welfare and contribute to a better everyday life for animals in difficult situations.
