The Norwegian Film Association is a trade union and artists' organization that represents actors in the audiovisual industry. The organization aims to safeguard the interests of people who work behind the camera, and offers a range of services for its members. This includes legal guidance related to working conditions, quality assurance of employment contracts, as well as help to secure income from copyright.
The association also arranges professional refresher programs and member meetings, which give members the opportunity to develop in their respective fields. In addition, they offer discounted personal advice on pensions and industry accreditation for film festivals. The Norwegian Film Association also has an on-call system for urgent matters, and gives members a free subscription to Rushprint+, a publication that covers the film and media industry.
