NAV, which stands for the Labor and Welfare Administration, is a public agency in Norway with its head office in Oslo. The agency's task is to manage and offer services within working life, social services and welfare schemes. NAV works to ensure income support and assistance for people who are out of work, as well as to help people get back into work.
NAV offers a range of services, including guidance for jobseekers, financial social assistance, and benefits such as sickness benefits and disability benefits. The agency collaborates with both municipalities and other public bodies to provide comprehensive services to users. NAV has offices all over the country, and in Oslo there are several locations where residents can get help and information about the various welfare schemes.
