Bakke kirke is a church in Trondheim that is known for its involvement in the local community and its focus on an open outlook on life. The church has recently restored church musician training, which has received support from over 1,000 signatures. This measure is part of the church's wider work to strengthen music and culture in the congregation.
In addition to educational initiatives, Bakke Church offers various events such as drop-in evenings with Grief and Vitality meetings, which are aimed at people who have experienced loss. Theme evenings about grief are also held in Vår Frue church and are open to all interested parties. The church is in the process of digitizing burial sites, which aims to make cultural history available to the general public. The construction of the new Charlottenlund church is also underway, which will contribute to the further development of the church's services to the congregations in Trondheim.
