The Muslim Community in Trondheim functions as a mosque and a meeting point for Muslims in the area. The society offers a weekend school for children and young people, where the focus is on teaching Islam and the Koran. This measure is part of their work to promote religious understanding and identity among younger generations.
In addition to the weekend school, the Muslim Community organizes activities and events that contribute to the community. They also offer school visits to increase understanding of Islamic faith and culture in the local community. Another important service is Qarz-e-Hasna, which is an interest-free loan for those in need of financial support. The community is also involved in the work to build an Islamic center in Trondheim, which will strengthen the inclusive community for Muslims in the region.
