Stiftelsen Brannbamsen Bjørnis is a non-profit organization whose aim is to promote fire safety among children. Through various activities and educational programmes, the foundation works to increase awareness of fire danger and how to prevent fires. The organization uses the character Bjørnis, a fire teddy bear, as an educational tool to make learning about fire safety both engaging and accessible to the youngest.
The foundation offers resources and materials to schools and kindergartens, and participates in events that focus on fire protection. In addition to teaching, they also draw attention to the importance of having a fire emergency plan in the home. Through its work, Stiftelsen Brannbamsen Bjørnis contributes to creating safer environments for children and families.
