Where can I rent a car at Oslo Airport?
Where the rental desks are, which firms operate and when they are open.
Short answer
At Oslo Airport Gardermoen, all the car rental companies are located together in parking zone P10, on level U2. Sixt, Avis, Hertz and Rent-A-Wreck all list a station at the airport, and Sixt says the rental offices are just before you enter the P10 area, with its own desk open from 07:00 to midnight every day.
Why
- Avinor states that the car rental companies at Oslo Airport are all located in P-zone P10, level U2.
- Sixt's Gardermoen branch is open from 07:00 to midnight every day, including public holidays.
- Avis at Gardermoen is open 07:00–23:00 on weekdays and Sundays and 08:00–20:00 on Saturdays, and offers 24-hour returns.
Details
Hertz and Rent-A-Wreck also list pickup at Oslo Airport Gardermoen on their own websites. Sixt offers one-way rentals from Gardermoen for an extra fee, and parking in P10 can be paid at the machine or online.
Tip
If you land late, check the desk's closing time before you book: Avis closes at 20:00 on Saturdays, while Sixt stays open until midnight.
What may differ
If your flight lands at Sandefjord Airport Torp rather than Gardermoen, you need a different rental station: Rent-A-Wreck, for example, lists Torp as a separate location.
