The development fund is a non-profit organization with a focus on sustainable development and food security. The organization works to support small farmers in the face of climate change, and aims to strengthen their resilience against extreme weather and challenging growing conditions. Through their projects, they reach over a million people in Africa, Asia and Central America every year.
The organization offers tools that make it possible to compare climate effects both locally and globally, and emphasizes biological diversity in agriculture. The development fund works for climate adaptation and climate robustness, while at the same time encouraging commitment and investment in development projects. With a strong focus on justice and solidarity, they direct attention to vulnerable groups that are hardest hit by climate change.
