The Salvation Army has a branch in Auglendsdalen that offers daycare services in Stavanger. The daycare is located in scenic surroundings, which provides opportunities for outdoor activities and hiking trails nearby. This gives children the opportunity to explore nature and participate in physical activities.
The daycare emphasizes good welcome routines and maintains daily dialogue with parents. Communication takes place, among other things, through the app Vigilo, which provides an effective platform for information and updates. Parent-teacher conferences are held twice a year, and regular parent meetings are arranged to involve parents in the daycare's everyday life. There is also a parents' council and a cooperation committee that contribute to cooperation between the daycare and the home. The daycare also has unique elements such as chickens and tricycles, which give children the opportunity to learn about animal care and motor skills.
