Where can I store luggage in Bergen?
Lockers, tourist information and the airport: where you can leave bags in Bergen.
Short answer
In Bergen you can leave luggage in self-service lockers at the railway station and the bus station next to it, or at Bergen Tourist Information by the Fish Market. Visit Bergen gives station locker prices from about NOK 199 to NOK 699 for 24 hours. Bergen Airport Flesland has no luggage storage.
Why
- Vy says the luggage lockers at Bergen station, Strømgaten 4, are in the main hall and that the price depends on the size of the locker and how long you rent it.
- Visit Bergen lists locker prices from around NOK 199 for a small locker to NOK 699 for the largest size per 24 hours, with card payment only.
- Avinor states that there is no luggage storage at Bergen Airport Flesland.
Details
Bergen Tourist Information in Mathallen, Strandkaien 3, stores bags for NOK 100 per item per day, but only during its opening hours, and bags must be collected the same day. The bus station next to the railway station also has lockers if those at the station are full. Visit Bergen adds that many hotels will keep luggage before check-in or after check-out.
Tip
If you fly from Flesland later in the day, ask your hotel to keep your bags first, as many do this for guests.
