Where can I find a map of the tram lines in Oslo?

The tram line map, timetables and the six tram lines.

Short answer

Ruter publishes the line map for Oslo's trams as a PDF on its tram timetables page, covering lines 12, 13, 15, 17, 18 and 19. The same page has a timetable PDF valid from 20 April 2026 for day and night service. Trams sell no tickets on board, so buy one in the Ruter app first.

Why

  1. Ruter's tram page lists timetables and line maps for tram lines 12, 13, 15, 17, 18 and 19, both daytime and night.
  2. The tram map is a separate PDF called 'Linjekart for trikk', marked edition 2025-12, while the metro map sits on Ruter's metro page.
  3. Ruter states that you cannot buy a ticket on board a tram or metro.

Details

Ruter's timetables and line maps section has separate pages for bus in Oslo, metro, tram, bus in Akershus and boat. For live tram departures, use the journey planner at reise.ruter.no or the Ruter app. The same Ruter ticket works on trams, buses and the metro, so you can change between them within your zones while it is valid.

Tip

Download both the tram and the metro map, since you can combine the two on one ticket.
