How do I get from Bergen to Odda by bus?
Which bus to take, how tickets work and how to continue to Trolltunga.
Short answer
From Bergen you reach Odda on Skyss line 930, which NOR-WAY Bussekspress says operates the Seljestad to Bergen section of the Haukeliekspressen route. In Odda the buses stop at the bus terminal in the town centre. A Haukeliekspressen ticket for this stretch is also valid on line 930.
Why
- NOR-WAY Bussekspress lists departures to Odda from Bergen, Haugesund, Telemark and Oslo on its NW180 Haukeliekspressen route.
- NOR-WAY states that the section between Seljestad and Bergen is operated by Skyss as line 930.
- Skyss accepts NOR-WAY Haukeliekspressen tickets for all or part of the Seljestad to Bergen section on its route 930.
Details
Express coaches have their own fares and rules, and Skyss says you cannot buy single tickets for express coach journeys in the Skyss app. The official Trolltunga site says Odda has bus connections from the stations in Bergen and Voss, and that the drive from Bergen takes about three hours. From Odda and Tyssedal a shuttle bus runs to the Trolltunga trailhead at Skjeggedal.
