Short answer

Oslo Bus Terminal is at Schweigaardsgate 6, on the ground floor of Galleri Oslo, about five minutes' walk from Oslo Central Station along a signposted path. Express buses from Vy, NOR-WAY Bussekspress and FlixBus leave here for Bergen, Trondheim and Kristiansand, and for Stockholm, Copenhagen and Prague. The terminal is open daily from 05:15 to 00:55.

Why

  1. The terminal's own line list includes Vy routes to Bergen, Trondheim, Kristiansand, Ålesund, Førde and Geilo, and Vy Bus4You routes to Stockholm and Copenhagen.
  2. NOR-WAY Bussekspress runs from the terminal to Haugesund, Kristiansand and Stavanger, Trysil, and Fagernes and Beitostølen.
  3. The terminal's ticket page also lists the airport buses Flybussen and Torpekspressen, and regional operators such as Ruter, Brakar and Østfold kollektivtrafikk.

Details

The information points are staffed 08:00–18:00, from 09:00 on Sundays, and the terminal has luggage storage, toilets and food outlets. A ticket machine at platform A12 and the information desk take bank cards for Vy buses, and the MIX kiosk sells Ruter and Vy tickets for card or cash. The terminal itself recommends buying tickets in the bus companies' apps or websites.

Tip

Allow about five minutes to walk from the trains at Oslo S, and check your departure in Entur or the bus company's app before you go.

What may differ

Some routes also stop at Oslo Airport, for example NOR-WAY's Trysil line and Vy's VY450, so you may not need to go into the city.
