Where does Flytoget stop, and does it go to Nationaltheatret and Drammen?
Stations, departures per hour and travel times from the airport.
Short answer
Flytoget runs from Oslo Airport to Lillestrøm, Oslo S, Nationaltheatret, Skøyen, Lysaker, Stabekk, Sandvika, Asker and Drammen, so it serves both Nationaltheatret and Drammen. Every train stops at Oslo S, but only trains bound for Drammen or Stabekk continue to Nationaltheatret. Drammen has about three departures an hour, and the trip takes around 60 minutes.
Why
- Flytoget's own fare table lists nine stations: Lillestrøm, Oslo S, Nationaltheatret, Skøyen, Lysaker, Stabekk, Sandvika, Asker and Drammen.
- Flytoget says that to get off at Nationaltheatret you should board a train terminating in Drammen or Stabekk.
- Visit Norway lists six departures an hour to Oslo S (19–22 minutes) and three an hour to Sandvika, Asker and Drammen (41, 47 and 60 minutes).
Details
At Oslo Airport, Flytoget always leaves from track 3. Nationaltheatret, Skøyen and Lysaker get 3–5 departures an hour, Stabekk two and Lillestrøm three, with Lillestrøm only 12 minutes from the airport. There are fewer departures early in the morning, late in the evening, at weekends and in school holidays. During the train drivers' strike in October 2026, Avinor reported that Flytoget was running as normal.
Tip
To find the right track at Oslo S, check the departure screens or the Flytoget app, which shows all departures in real time.
What may differ
Fares depend on the station: an adult ticket to Oslo S or Nationaltheatret costs NOK 276, to Asker or Sandvika NOK 318 and to Drammen NOK 342. Children under 16 travel free with an adult.
