Where is the tax-free refund desk at Oslo and Bergen airports?
Counter locations, opening hours and what to bring.
Short answer
Oslo Airport's refund counters are in the departure hall by check-in areas 7 and 8, and in Bergen Planet and PIE VAT use the North souvenir shop after security. In Oslo, Global Blue is at area 8 and opens at 05:00 every day. For Global Blue in Bergen, check the company's list of refund offices.
Why
- Avinor places the Global Blue counter at check-in area 8 and the Planet counter at check-in area 7 in Oslo's departure hall, with PIE VAT behind area 7, all before security.
- Global Blue in Oslo opens at 05:00 every day and closes at 20:00 on weekdays, 19:00 on Saturdays and 21:00 on Sundays, while Planet and PIE VAT are open 09:00–18:00.
- At Bergen Airport, Planet and PIE VAT list the North souvenir shop in the international area after security as their refund point.
Details
Bring your passport or ID card, flight ticket, tax-free forms and the goods, and do not pack the goods in checked luggage before they are validated. Outside opening hours or when changing planes in Oslo, Planet refunds at the ARK bookshop and PIE VAT validates at the North souvenir shop, both after security in the Gate D area.
Tip
In Bergen the refund point is after security, so keep the goods in your hand luggage until they have been checked.
What may differ
Planet lists a cash fee of NOK 20 at its Bergen refund point. Global Blue publishes its own list of refund offices in Norway, so check it for Bergen before you travel.
