Where are Posten's own post offices in Oslo?
Addresses, opening hours and posting deadlines for Posten's own offices.
Short answer
Posten runs three post offices of its own in Oslo: Vika in Klingenberggata 7, Majorstuen in Kirkeveien 61 and Nydalen in Kristoffer Aamots gate 5. All three are open 08:00–20:00 on weekdays and 10:00–15:00 on Saturdays, and closed on Sundays. Elsewhere, you can send and collect parcels at Post i Butikk counters in shops and at parcel lockers.
Why
- Posten's map lists Vika post office at Klingenberggata 7, Majorstuen post office at Kirkeveien 61 and Nydalen post office at Kristoffer Aamots gate 5.
- All three offices are open Monday to Friday 08:00–20:00 and Saturday 10:00–15:00, and they are closed on Sunday.
- Posten says its post offices also sell a wider range of goods, such as letterboxes, office supplies and books.
Details
The weekday posting deadline differs: 17:00 at Vika, 16:00 at Majorstuen and 18:00 at Nydalen. All three offer ID checks and a self-service label printer, and Vika also has a parcel machine. For each office, Posten's map lists nearby parcel lockers that are open longer, for example at REMA 1000 Vika.
Tip
Check the opening hours on Posten's map before you go, as they can change.
What may differ
