Most of the places on this page are within walking distance of each other. Measured in a straight line from Torgallmenningen, it is about 150 metres to Veiten, less than 400 metres to Sigurds gate and to Finnegårdsgaten by Bryggen, and between 450 and 650 metres to Tverrgaten, Nøstegaten, St. Jakobs plass and the shopping centre in Strømgaten. Two of the clinics share the address Torgallmenningen 3B, so their points lie on top of each other on the map.
Three places are outside the centre. The place in Rollandslia in Åsane lies about seven kilometres north of Torgallmenningen. The Thai salon in Michael Krohns gate at Danmarks plass lies just under two kilometres south of the centre, and the place in Grønnestølsbakken about four and a half kilometres south. The address does not always tell you where the door is. The clinic at St. Jakobs plass and the Thai salon in the shopping centre in Strømgaten are on the second floor, and one of the clinics in Torgallmenningen 3B states the seventh floor. The muscle therapist in Sigurds gate describes the way in like this: through the white gate, first door on the left. The shopping centre is called Bergen Storsenter in the card, while Google Maps now calls it Thon Senter Bergen.

Appointment, walk-in and length: how to book

At least nine of the twelve places have online booking, according to their own websites (read on 5 and 6 October 2026). One of the clinics in Torgallmenningen 3B has no online calendar and asks you to call or send an email. The other clinic at the same address is listed in the card and on Google Maps as open on Wednesdays only, so there it pays to agree a time by phone well in advance.
Walk-in is the exception. The Thai salon at Danmarks plass writes on its website that you can come without an appointment, book online or call. The Thai salon at Nøstet takes walk-ins only when there is a free slot. For two people who want a massage at the same time, the Thai salon in the shopping centre has a duo offer: according to the salon's own text it takes place in two rooms next to each other with the curtain open, not necessarily in one room.
You choose the length when you book. The clinic at St. Jakobs plass has massage from 30 to 120 minutes in its booking system. The spa salon in Tverrgaten has classic massage of 50 or 80 minutes and separate treatments for back and neck and for feet. At the Thai salon at Danmarks plass the combined treatment lasts 90 minutes. The muscle therapist in Sigurds gate has separate sessions for students and for companies.
One of the places has announced a long holiday. The place in Grønnestølsbakken writes on its website that it is closed from 1 December 2026 to 5 February 2027.
Evenings and Sundays: who is open, and where the sources differ
- Until 20:00 or 21:00 on weekdays: the clinic at St. Jakobs plass and the Thai salons in Strømgaten and at Danmarks plass.
- Sunday: the muscle therapist in Sigurds gate and the Thai salon at Nøstet state opening hours themselves.

The hours here are taken from the places' own websites and booking pages (read on 5 October 2026). The clinic at St. Jakobs plass states 8:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays. The Thai salon in the shopping centre states 10:00 to 21:00 Monday to Saturday, and the Thai salon at Danmarks plass 12:00 to 20:00 on the same days. The spa salon in Tverrgaten closes earlier: at 18:00 on weekdays and at 16:00 on Saturdays.
Some have short days or few open days. The muscle therapist in Sigurds gate is open 12:00 to 18:00 on Monday and Wednesday, 10:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, closed on Saturday and open 12:00 to 15:00 on Sunday. One of the clinics in Torgallmenningen 3B states 16:00 to 20:00 on Monday, Thursday and Friday, and Saturday by appointment.
On Sundays the choice is small. Besides the muscle therapist in Sigurds gate, the Thai salon at Nøstet states that it is open at weekends from 12:00. The clinic at St. Jakobs plass and the place in Åsane are shown as open on Sundays on Google Maps, but not on their own websites. The chain clinic in Veiten and the clinic in Finnegårdsgaten are listed in the cards as open every day until 21:00 or later, hours we have not checked against their own websites.
The sources do not always agree. For the Thai salon at Danmarks plass Google Maps shows 11:00 to 22:00, while the website says 12:00 to 20:00, and for the Thai salon at Nøstet there are three different sets of hours on the website and the map. The place's booking page shows what is actually free on the day you want an appointment.
