Stortorvet as the starting point: how far it is to each address
- Farmanns gate 1: two Thai salons in the same building, about 100 metres from Stortorvet.
- Storgata 32, Brogata 19 and Holmegata 12 lie in a row north-west of the square, roughly 180, 290 and 430 metres away.
- Kirkebrygga is just over 500 metres south of the square, Rektor Østbyes gate 4b one kilometre to the east.
- Ilaveien 97 and Lisleby allé 108 are 1.8 and 2.9 kilometres north-east of the square.
Six of the massage places in Fredrikstad lie within 520 metres of Stortorvet, counted as a straight line from map point to map point. The nearest is Farmanns gate 1, where two Thai salons share an address but have separate phone numbers; one of them says on its website that it is upstairs, on the floor above street level. To the north-west you first reach the salon at Storgata 32, then the Thai salons at Brogata 19 and Holmegata 12, with about 140 and 160 metres between the doors.
The two other salons whose main trade is skin care lie south and east of the square. One is by Kirkebrygga, just over 500 metres to the south, and the other at Rektor Østbyes gate 4b, one kilometre from the square and 660 metres from Kirkebrygga.
The treatment room at Lisleby is in Fix Huset at Lisleby allé 108. Its website states free parking and a bicycle rack in the courtyard, and that bus 8 between Øra and Rekustad stops about 50 metres from the house. From Ilaveien 97 it is another 1.2 kilometres there. At the three skin and wellness salons massage sits in the same calendar as facials and foot care, and all three sell gift cards on their websites. The salon by Kirkebrygga lists classic massage and aroma massage of 60 minutes, and back and neck massage and face and scalp massage of 30 minutes. In the calendar of the salon in Rektor Østbyes gate, Norwegian classic massage of 40, 60, 75 and 90 minutes was listed on 5 October 2026. The front page there does not mention massage, so it is the calendar that shows what is offered.
The salon at Storgata 32 has changed its name. The website says so in a notice, the booking page uses the new name, and the address and phone number are the same as before. The website also says that not all free times are shown in the online booking, so it pays to phone when the calendar looks full. On 5 October 2026 classic massage, sports massage, aroma massage and trigger point massage were listed there, lasting from 25 to 50 minutes.
The Thai salon upstairs in Farmanns gate takes bookings by phone and has no calendar. Its website lists, among other things, traditional Thai massage, oil massage, aroma massage, foot massage, pregnancy massage and hot stone treatment. The three other Thai salons have no website, so you have to use the phone number shown in the card.
The therapist at Lisleby offers sessions of 60 or 90 minutes and takes payment by card or Vipps. The therapist in Ilaveien asked for bookings by phone or text message in a post on their Facebook page on 26 September. The times here come from the places' websites as they stood on 7 October 2026. The latest evening is at the salon in Storgata, which stays open until 20.00 on Thursdays; on the other weekdays it closes between 16.00 and 18.00. The Thai salon upstairs in Farmanns gate states 19.00 every weekday, and the therapist at Lisleby has one long day, Monday, from 12.00 to 19.00.
On Saturdays two places state fixed hours: the Thai salon in Farmanns gate from 10.00 to 15.00 and the salon in Storgata from 10.00 to 14.00. Lisleby is open on some Saturdays, and the therapist asks you to get in touch. None of the websites states Sunday opening.
The salon by Kirkebrygga shows two different sets of hours on its website, and both have Thursday until 18.00. Then the calendar is the safest source: a free slot there is a slot you actually get.
