Hairdressers in Hamar: 10 salons and barbershops in the centre, in shopping centres and in two neighbourhoods
Hamar's hairdressers sit close together in the centre and are spread out beyond it. Five of the ten places on this page have an address on Strandgata, Sverres gate or Torggata, with less than 300 metres between them. Two are in the Maxi Storsenter shopping centre, a kilometre and a half west of the centre, one is in CC Hamar on Vangsvegen, and two are neighbourhood salons: on Kornsilovegen in Storhamar and on Skogvegen in the north-east. Three of the ten are barbershops. Each card has an address and a short description, and eight have a phone number. The cards carry no opening hours: the times below come from the places' own websites.

Five addresses in the centre, two shopping centres and two neighbourhoods
- Strandgata 51 and Sverres gate 11: the same street corner, less than 30 metres between the addresses.
- Torggata 41: a barbershop about 100 metres from Sverres gate 33.
- CC Hamar, Vangsvegen 62: about 350 metres from Torggata 41.
- Maxi Storsenter, Aslak Bolts gate 48: roughly 1.5 kilometres west of Torggata.
The distances are straight lines between address points in the Kartverket address register. In the centre all five lie within 280 metres, with Strandgata 71 furthest west and Sverres gate 33 furthest east. Strandgata has four hairdresser cards in our catalogue, between numbers 35 and 71, and two are included here.
The address of CC Hamar is Vangsvegen 62. The rubric Hårsalonger og hårpleie lists three hair salons at that address, and the barbershop on this page is the fourth in the building. Maxi Storsenter at Aslak Bolts gate 48 has three cards, and two are included here: the hair salon on level 1 and a barbershop.
The two neighbourhood salons lie in opposite directions. Kornsilovegen 58A is 650 metres west of Maxi Storsenter and just over two kilometres from Torggata. Skogvegen 41 is about 1.3 kilometres north-east of the salons in the centre and 900 metres from CC Hamar.
Torggata 41 appears on two cards in the rubric Barbersalonger, each with its own name and its own phone number. Only one is included here, so look for the name on the door when you get there.

Four of the ten have online booking, and no two use the same system. Timma also shows the terms for Strandgata 51: the salon reserves the right to charge the full amount if you do not turn up or cancel later than 24 hours before the appointment (read on 7 October 2026). Strandgata 71 lets you change or cancel online up to 36 hours before; after that you have to contact the salon directly (website read on 6 October 2026).
We found no online booking for the other six. Sverres gate 11, Kornsilovegen, Skogvegen and the barbershop on Torggata have a phone number in the card but no website. The barbershop in Maxi Storsenter has neither a number nor a website in the card. The barbershop in CC Hamar has a website of its own, but the card lacks both the link and a phone number.
The service lists differ. The salon at Sverres gate 33 lists cuts, hair colour and keratin treatment, and also lashes, brows and facials: alongside the hairdressers the salon has a skin and body therapist. The hair salon in Maxi Storsenter opened in January 2020 and has five hairdressers. It cuts women's and men's hair and mentions colouring, perms, lashes and brows, ear piercing and updos. Strandgata 71 states the time needed, 60 minutes for a women's cut and 30 for a men's cut, and sells digital gift cards according to the card. The card for Strandgata 51 mentions free parking in the backyard.
We have not found drop-in at any of the ten. For a cut without an appointment, a hairdressing chain has a drop-in-only salon in CC Hamar and salons with both drop-in and booking in Maxi Storsenter and CC Martin, according to the chain's own overview (read on 7 October 2026). The chain has cards of its own in the rubric.

- Maxi Storsenter, the hair salon: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 21:00, Saturday 10:00 to 18:00, closed on Sunday.
- Sverres gate 33: 09:00 to 17:00, Wednesday and Thursday until 19:00, Saturday 10:00 to 14:00.

The hours for Strandgata 71 and for the barbershop in CC Hamar are from their websites as read on 6 October 2026; the day after, the pages would not open. Strandgata 71 stated 09:00 to 17:00 on Monday and Friday, in addition to the late days in the list above. The barbershop in CC Hamar stated 10:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 on Saturday and closed on Sunday.
For Strandgata 51, Sverres gate 11, Torggata 41, Kornsilovegen, Skogvegen and the barbershop in Maxi Storsenter we found no opening hours on their own pages. Five of them have a phone number in the card; the barbershop in Maxi Storsenter does not.
