Massage in Haugesund: 12 places in Haraldsgata, by Skåregata and in the north of the centre

Twelve places for massage in Haugesund are gathered here, and eleven of them lie less than 800 metres from the town hall, Rådhuset. Five have an online calendar: a physiotherapy clinic with massage on its price list, two skin care salons and two salons with Thai and aroma massage. The rest are Thai salons and massage salons that take bookings by phone, text message or form. The groups follow what you actually choose between in this town: online calendar or phone, the south end of Haraldsgata or the blocks in the north of the centre. The address is on every card, and the phone number or link is there when you open it.

From Haraldsgata 2 to Skåregata 213: four clusters and one address in Nygårdsvegen

  • Haraldsgata 2 and 4 are at the very south end of the street, about 600 metres from Rådhuset.
  • Åsbygata 4 and Haraldsgata 77 are 150 and 175 metres from Rådhuset, with 90 metres between them.
  • Skåregata 138, Strandgata 140 and Niels Skorpens gate 1 all lie within 170 metres of each other.

In Haugesund eleven of the twelve places lie along a stretch of just under 1.4 kilometres, from Haraldsgata 2 in the south to Skåregata 213 in the north. The distances are straight lines between the points on the map, and Rådhuset at Kirkegata 85 is used as the fixed point. Furthest south, two salons sit in the neighbouring buildings Haraldsgata 2 and 4: a Thai salon and a salon that is a hairdresser and massage place in one.

Closest to Rådhuset are the skin care salon at Åsbygata 4 and the salon at Haraldsgata 77. Between 300 and 450 metres west and north-west of Rådhuset comes a small cluster: the Thai salon at Niels Skorpens gate 1, the skin care salon at Strandgata 140 only 70 metres away, and the salon at Skåregata 138.

In the north of the centre four salons stand close together: Haraldsgata 195 and Sørhauggata 197 with 55 metres between them, and Skåregata 177 and 213 on either side of them. The twelfth address is Nygårdsvegen 6, just under 1.9 kilometres north of Rådhuset. The physiotherapy clinic is on the second floor there and states free parking right outside. More places of the same kind are in the rubric Spa- og massasjesentre.

Thai, aroma or classic: what is on the lists, and how long a session lasts

Classic massage is in the first group. The physiotherapy clinic lists classic massage, sports and trigger point, and muscle therapy as separate lines on its price page. The skin care salon in Åsbygata has back massage of 30 minutes, classic massage of 90 and aroma massage of 60 and 90, and also stone massage and back massage with peeling. At Strandgata 140 it is aroma massage of 30, 45 and 60 minutes that is in the calendar.

The salon at Haraldsgata 77 has the longest list of the twelve: neck and back, scalp, foot and calf, Thai, aroma, pregnancy massage and couples massage, from 30 to 120 minutes, plus a package of two and a half hours. The booking page points out that not all staff perform all the treatments. On 6 October 2026 the Thai salon at Haraldsgata 4 listed Thai massage, oil massage, back and neck and foot massage of 30, 60 and 120 minutes. The neighbour at number 2 has relaxing massage and oil massage of 30 and 60 minutes alongside cuts, colour and braiding.

The two salons in the third group both have Thai, aroma and foot massage, from half an hour up to two hours. At Niels Skorpens gate 1 there is also massage with hot oil and a half-hour head and neck massage, at Skåregata 138 deep tissue massage and a treatment called Body Spa. For the four salons in the north of the centre we have no list from the places themselves, so there the number on the card is what tells you what they offer.

Calendar, form, text message or drop-in: how you get a session, and when they are open

  • Online calendar: Nygårdsvegen 6, Åsbygata 4, Strandgata 140, Haraldsgata 77 and Niels Skorpens gate 1.
  • A form the salon confirms afterwards: Skåregata 138.
  • Phone or text message: Haraldsgata 2 and 4 and the four salons in the north of the centre.

Five of the twelve let you pick the time yourself. The physiotherapy clinic has online booking, also takes bookings by phone and writes that you do not need a referral. The Thai salon at Niels Skorpens gate 1 has a separate booking button for each treatment and sells gift cards.

The opening hours here were read on the places' own pages on 7 October 2026, not on the cards. The physiotherapy clinic states 08.00 to 20.00 Monday to Friday and 10.00 to 14.00 on Saturday, with evenings and weekends by appointment. The skin care salon in Åsbygata is open 10.00 to 18.00 on weekdays and 10.00 to 14.00 on Saturday. The Thai salon at Niels Skorpens gate 1 has 10.30 to 19.00 Monday to Saturday and is closed on Sunday.

The Thai salon at Haraldsgata 4 is the only one we have seen state that it is open all seven days: 10.00 to 20.00 was on its website on 6 October 2026, together with phone, text message and drop-in when there is a free slot. The salon at Skåregata 138 takes bookings in a form and confirms the time afterwards. Its website announces a move and a change of name and on 7 October 2026 still showed an address in Kirkegata, so go by the address on the card and phone if you are in doubt. Pages from other towns are under Skjønnhet og velvære.
