Massage in Sandefjord: 8 places around Torget, by the fjord and in Bugårdsparken
Massage in Sandefjord is offered by two massage therapists with their own practice, by the spa in the hotel in Strandpromenaden and by five Thai salons in the centre. Seven of the eight addresses lie within 550 metres of Torget, the eighth in Svømmehallen, the swimming hall in Bugårdsparken. Here you see who has an online calendar, who you have to phone, and who takes clients in the evening and on Sundays. The address is on every card, and the phone number or link is there when you open the card.

Seven addresses around Torget and one in Bugårdsparken
- Kirkegata 8, Rådhusgata 11 and Stockfleths gate 2 lie within 170 metres of each other, just north of Torget.
- Jernbaneplassen 1 is by the station, about 300 metres further north.
- Prinsens gate 6 is a little over 300 metres west of Torget, the hotel spa 360 metres south-west and Bjerggata 1 500 metres south-east.
- Svømmehallen in Bugårdsparken is 1.9 kilometres west of Torget.
In Sandefjord you can walk between almost all the massage places. Three of them are in the blocks just north of Torget: the massage therapist at Rådhusgata 11, the Thai salon at Kirkegata 8 and the one at Stockfleths gate 2, with 100 to 170 metres between the doors. From there it is about 300 metres up to Jernbaneplassen, where a Thai salon sits by the station. The distances are straight lines between the points on the map.
South of Torget there are two places, in different directions. The spa is in the hotel at Strandpromenaden 9, 360 metres to the south-west, and the Thai salon at Bjerggata 1 is 500 metres to the south-east. The salon at Prinsens gate 6 is a little over 300 metres west of Torget.
The one address outside the centre is Stadionveien 15. There a massage and muscle therapist has her practice in Svømmehallen in Bugårdsparken, 1.9 kilometres west of Torget, and her website mentions water training and a sauna in the same place. More places of the same kind, including reflexologists, are listed in the Spa and massage centres category.
Online calendar, message or phone: how to get an appointment
- Rådhusgata and Svømmehallen: you pick the time yourself in an online calendar.
- The hotel spa: a booking button on the website, otherwise phone and e-mail.
- Jernbaneplassen: call or send a message before 21:00.
- Prinsens gate and Stockfleths gate: only the phone number in the card.
The two massage therapists let you choose the time yourself. At the therapist in Rådhusgata, the booking page shows massage of 30, 40, 60 and 90 minutes, facial massage and gift cards, and she can also be reached by phone, Messenger and WhatsApp. The therapist in Svømmehallen has an online calendar and also gives a phone number, SMS and e-mail. On 6 October 2026 her calendar showed sessions of 30, 60 and 90 minutes, and she also offers workplace massage.
The hotel spa has a booking button on its website and otherwise takes bookings by phone and e-mail. The list includes classic massage, Thai massage, aroma massage, hot stone massage and body scrub with massage. The website does not say whether you have to be staying at the hotel to come.
The Thai salons have no calendar. The salon by the station asks you to call or send a message before 21:00 to arrange a time. The one in Kirkegata answers fastest on mobile and also has a contact form, and the salon in Bjerggata takes bookings by phone or form and sells gift cards over the counter. The two in Prinsens gate and Stockfleths gate have no website of their own, so there it is the phone number in the card that counts. Pages from other towns are under Beauty and wellness.
Opening hours read at the source: early on Tuesdays, late by the station, Sundays at two places
- Rådhusgata: from 08:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays, Saturdays 10:00 to 14:00.
- The hotel spa: Monday to Saturday 10:00 to 17:00.
- By the station: until 22:00 Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 21:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Bjerggata: until 21:00 every day, from 12:00 on Sundays.
The hours were read on the places' own websites and booking pages on 7 October 2026, not on the cards. The therapist in Rådhusgata states 10:00 to 17:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 08:00 to 17:00 on Tuesdays and Fridays and 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays. The hotel spa is open 10:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday, and the Thai salon in Kirkegata 10:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday.
If you need a time after working hours, the Thai salons by the station and in Bjerggata stay open longest: until 22:00 on weekdays by the station and until 21:00 in Bjerggata. Those two are also the only ones we have seen stating Sunday hours, from 11:00 and from 12:00.
For Svømmehallen the sources differ, so there it is the free times in the calendar that count. For the salons in Prinsens gate and Stockfleths gate we have no hours from the place itself: call and ask before you go.

How we make this page
The places on this page are chosen by the NorgeGuide editors. Payment affects neither the selection nor the order. The order within the groups is free and says nothing about quality. The page assesses neither the practitioners nor the effect of the treatments.
