Dentists in Bergen: 8 clinics in the centre, Laksevåg, Åsane and the south of the city

This page groups dental clinics in Bergen by where they are: in the centre and Laksevåg, south of the centre and in Åsane. It shows what you can check yourself before you book: when the clinic is open, how to get an appointment and how to get there. We do not assess the treatment. Each card has an address and a short description of the clinic.

Cards checked on 6 October 2026. Editor: Alex. Found a mistake? Leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Which group suits you

This page is useful if you need an appointment after work or at the weekend, want to see the dentist on the same trip as your shopping, come by car, or would like a clinic where you can speak a language other than Norwegian.

Evenings, Saturdays and Sundays: when the clinics are open

  • Until 20:00 from Monday to Thursday: the clinics in Landås and at Lagunen.
  • Until 21:00 on weekdays, and open on Saturdays: the chain clinic in Åsane.
  • Sundays: the city-centre clinic on Rådhusgaten and the clinic in Laksevåg list opening hours.
  • Friday is shorter in several places, closing at 15:30 or 16:00.

The times here are taken from the clinics' own websites (read on 5 and 6 October 2026). Ordinary office hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 15:30, apply at only one of the clinics, in Åsane, and it takes afternoon appointments by arrangement. South of the centre the clinics in Landås and at Lagunen stay open until 20:00 from Monday to Thursday and until 16:00 on Fridays. The clinic in Minde is listed on its card from 9:00 to 20:00 every weekday.

The chain clinic in Åsane has the longest weekday, from 7:00 to 21:00, and is open from 9:00 to 15:00 on Saturdays. The clinic at Lagunen is open every other Saturday, from 9:00 to 17:00. In the centre the clinic on Torggaten is open until 20:00 on some weekdays, but the table and the text on its website do not name the same days, so ask which days it applies to.

Two clinics list opening hours on Sundays. The city-centre clinic on Rådhusgaten calls itself an emergency dental service (tannlegevakt) and lists 8:00 to 24:00 from Monday to Saturday and 9:00 to 24:00 on Sundays and public holidays, with phone hours until 23:30. The clinic in Laksevåg lists 9:00 to 14:00 on Sundays, 9:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and Saturdays as needed.

The cards in the directory do not always show the same times as the clinics themselves, and some cards have no hours. In that case the clinic's website is the one that counts.

City centre, shopping centre or district: how to get there

  • City centre: the clinics on Torggaten and Rådhusgaten are about 150 metres apart.
  • Åsane: both clinics have their address in Åsane Senter, about eight kilometres north of the centre.
  • Lagunen: the clinic is on the fifth floor of the shopping centre, about ten kilometres south of the centre.
  • Landås: bus to Landåstorget, or a ten-minute walk from the Sletten light rail stop.

The groups follow the map of Bergen and say nothing about the treatment. In the centre the clinics are on Torggaten and Rådhusgaten, about 150 metres apart in a straight line, and the clinic on Torggaten refers to a multi-storey car park close by. The clinic in Laksevåg is on Svingen, a kilometre and a half south-west of the centre in a straight line.

South of the centre the distances are greater: Minde and Landås are about four kilometres away in a straight line, Lagunen about ten. The clinic in Landås mentions a bus stop at Landåstorget and a ten-minute walk from the Sletten light rail stop. It has a few parking spaces in a garage, and you call the clinic to have the gate opened. The clinic at Lagunen is on the fifth floor of the shopping centre and refers to more than 2,000 parking spaces, half of them indoors, and two hours of free parking.

In Åsane the two clinics are about 150 metres apart, by the shopping centres, so you can see the dentist on the same trip as your shopping.

This page is a selection. In the directory, the category Dental Clinics has about 180 cards from the whole city, and you can search there by name or address. More health guides are collected under Health and medicine.

Before you book: online booking, languages and urgent appointments

  • Five of the clinics have online booking: the three chain clinics and the two in the centre.
  • The clinic in Laksevåg and one of the clinics in Åsane take bookings by phone or through a form.
  • The website of the clinic in Minde would not open when we checked: there you have to call.
  • If life is in danger, call 113. The out-of-hours medical service is on 116 117.

The chain clinics in Åsane, in Landås and at Lagunen have their own booking pages, and the clinic at Lagunen also has a link for changing or cancelling an appointment. The two city-centre clinics use an online booking system, and the clinic on Rådhusgaten states that it is open around the clock. The same clinic lists two addresses on its website, Rådhusgaten and Valkendorfsgaten, so look at which address the appointment is for.

If you want to speak a language other than Norwegian with the dentist, the clinic in Laksevåg is the one that mentions languages on its card: it lists Norwegian, English, Russian (Ukrainian), Spanish, Turkish and Arabic. Which language you get help in depends on the dentist, so mention it when you book. The other clinics do not mention languages on the pages we read.

Several of the clinics say they have same-day emergency appointments, and the city-centre clinic on Rådhusgaten lists emergency appointments every day. The clinic at Lagunen states that it is not an emergency dental service but tries to find an appointment the same day. This page does not promise a free slot: only the clinic can tell you whether there is room. The page is for orientation and does not replace an assessment by a dentist or a doctor.

The cards do not show prices. One thing you can still look for: the clinic in Landås lists a discount on dental check-ups for students up to the age of 34.

The clinics on this page are chosen by the NorgeGuide editorial team. Payment affects neither the selection nor the order. The order within the groups is free and says nothing about quality: the editorial team does not assess the treatment at the clinics.
