Hairdressers in Drammen: 11 salons and barbers in Strømsø, Bragernes and Gulskogen

The Drammenselva river splits the centre in two, and you notice it when you look for a hairdresser in Drammen. In Strømsø, south of the river, the barbers sit close together in the streets by the railway station, while Bragernes on the north bank has a hair salon chain and two more barbers. Further west is the Gulskogen shopping centre, where the barber keeps evening hours. The page shows where the places are, when they are open and how you get an appointment. The address is in every card, and the phone number in most of them.

Two riverbanks and one shopping centre: where the places are

  • Strømsø: seven of the places, and six of them lie within about 350 metres of each other by the railway station.
  • Bragernes: three places north of the river, from Nedre Storgate in the east to Hauges gate in the west.
  • Gulskogen: the barber is on the ground floor of the shopping centre, about 2.5 kilometres west of Strømsø torg as the crow flies.

The railway station is in Strømsø, and the salon at Strømsø torg is right next to it, according to its card. From there it is just over a hundred metres in a straight line to the barber at Torgeir Vraas plass and between 150 and 350 metres to the three barbers in Schultz gate and Tollbugata. In the directory seven hairdressers and barbers have an address in Tollbugata, between numbers 14 and 23. The salon in Langes gate is just over a hundred metres south of Tollbugata, and the one in Konnerudgata just over 400 metres west of Torgeir Vraas plass.

Bragernes is on the north bank. In a straight line it is only about 550 metres from Strømsø torg to the salon chain in Engene, but the river lies in between. The two barbers here are at opposite ends: one in Nedre Storgate, just under 300 metres east of Engene 14, the other in Hauges gate, about 350 metres to the west. If you are looking for an ordinary salon for women and men, the directory has its largest choice right here in Bragernes: Nedre Storgate alone has around ten cards.

Gulskogen Senter is in the west of town, and the barber there gives the ground floor in its address. Five more hair salons have the same address in the directory, Guldlisten 35, so the centre is an option also when you need more than a men's cut.

What you see here is a selection weighted towards barbers. The full list is in the directory: Hair Salons & Haircare with nearly ninety cards and Barbershops with eight. The Drammen page covers the rest of the town, and more guides on hair and wellness will appear under Beauty and wellness.

Booking: Timma, Fixit, Setmore or the phone

  • Three barbers in Strømsø and the salon chain in Engene take bookings through the same online service, Timma.
  • The salon at Strømsø torg uses Fixit, the barber in Nedre Storgate uses Setmore.
  • The salon chain in Engene requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the appointment, according to its card.

According to the places' own websites (read on 7 October 2026), bookings for the barbers in Schultz gate and at Tollbugata 23 and for the salon chain in Engene go through Timma, and the card for the barber at Tollbugata 14 links to the same service.

The salon at Strømsø torg is on Fixit, where it is now listed under a longer name than in the card: the address and phone number are the same. The booking page (read on 6 October 2026) lists men's cuts, women's cuts and beards. The barber in Nedre Storgate sends you on to Setmore from its website, and the barber at Gulskogen offers both online booking and the phone. The barber in Hauges gate has its own website: the link is in the card.

Three cards have no booking page of their own: the barber at Torgeir Vraas plass and the salons in Langes gate and Konnerudgata. There you call the number in the card. The card for Konnerudgata also has no opening hours, so call before you go there.

The barbers mention men's cuts and beard trims, several of them fades too, and the one at Gulskogen also has razor shaves and children's cuts up to the age of 13. The barber at Tollbugata 23 cuts women's hair as well, and the salon chain in Engene highlights hair extensions. Prices are not in the cards, but the barber at Gulskogen has a price list on its website.

Opening hours: 7 pm in Strømsø, 9 pm at Gulskogen

  • Weekdays: 9 pm at Gulskogen, 7 pm at three barbers in Strømsø and at the salon chain in Engene, 6 pm at the others.
  • Saturday: most are open, closing between 3 pm and 7 pm.
  • The barber in Schultz gate has no Saturday hours in its card.
  • Sunday: none of the places has confirmed opening hours.

The opening hours here are those in the cards as of 7 October 2026, and we have compared them with the places' own pages. The barber at Gulskogen stays open longest: 10 am to 9 pm from Monday to Friday and 9 am to 7 pm on Saturday, both in the card and on the barber's website. In Strømsø the barbers in Tollbugata and at Torgeir Vraas plass close at 7 pm and the others with hours in the card at 6 pm. So do the two barbers in Bragernes.

Three places show different hours in the card and on their own pages. The salon chain in Engene is listed in the card with 7 pm from Monday to Thursday and 5 pm on Friday, while the chain's page for this branch gives 10 am to 7 pm on all weekdays and Saturday 10 am to 3 pm by appointment. The salon at Strømsø torg has Saturday until 5 pm in the card and until 6 pm on the booking page. The barber at Torgeir Vraas plass opens at 10 am according to the card and at 9.30 am according to the town's visitor site drammen.no.

The barber at Gulskogen states that it is closed on Sundays, and the other cards have no Sunday hours, with one exception: the card for the barber at Tollbugata 23 shows Sunday hours that the place's own page does not confirm. So call first if you want to go there on a Sunday.
