Langgata from number 2 to 94, and four addresses outside it

  • Langgata: five places on a stretch of about 800 metres.
  • Lura: Stavangerveien, 1.7 kilometres north of the upper part of Langgata.
  • Kvadrat and Forus Sør: 2.9 and 4.3 kilometres north of the southern end of Langgata.
  • Østre Helleveien: 1.2 kilometres west of the southern end of Langgata.

Five of the places on this page have an address in Langgata, and they lie like beads on a string: the spa at number 2 furthest south, then Thai massage at numbers 39 and 60, and finally two salons at numbers 92 and 94 with 60 metres between them. From the first to the last it is about 800 metres in a straight line, so in the centre of Sandnes you can walk from door to door and compare. The salon at number 92 itself gives Parkveien as its address on its website: that is the street right next to it.

The other addresses are north and west of the centre. The Thai salon in Stavangerveien at Lura is 1.7 kilometres north of the upper part of Langgata. The Kvadrat shopping centre is just over a kilometre west of Stavangerveien, and Grenseveien at Forus Sør is 1.4 kilometres north of Kvadrat. The massage therapist in Østre Helleveien is the only one west of the centre.

At Forus it pays to read the directions before you go. The muscle therapist there is based at Grenseveien 21, inside FOMO Health: entrance E1 in the yellow building, and after 16:00 and on Saturdays you ring the bell marked with that name. At Kvadrat parking is free according to the place's website, and the bus stop is called Kvadrat. More places are listed in the Spa and massage centres category, and pages from other towns are under Beauty and wellness.

  • Thai massage: the salons at Langgata 39, 60, 92 and 94 and in Stavangerveien.
  • Classic and sports massage: Kvadrat, Forus Sør and Østre Helleveien.

  • Duration: from 25 or 30 minutes to two hours.

In Langgata Thai massage dominates. The salon at number 60 has two choices on its booking page, 30 minutes and one hour, while the Thai salon at Lura lists five durations from 30 to 120 minutes. The card for number 39 mentions traditional Thai massage, Thai oil massage and sports massage.
